We have had a great time in the past putting together charity work for www.wecare4.ch . Here is an example. http://ironmitch3.blogspot.com/2008/12/bid-on-cool-race-gear-to-help-kids-in.html

We believe it is a really easy way to give back and would like to see more people join the cause.

Thanks.Tridudes - Triathlon Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08742638984714118776noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597105533990511400.post-23651718201138590512009-08-27T13:22:30.242-07:002009-08-27T13:22:30.242-07:00I tri for charity, and have done many sports relat...I tri for charity, and have done many sports related things for charity since 2003. I think it is cultural.

I work for a French company and when I tell my colleagues who I am raising money for, they tell me that such fundraising "is not French" as "French people pay for charity with their taxes".

I don't fight it. You can do good just by raising awareness for your cause by wearing their logo, and awareness of a cause is just as important as fundraising. You can also do press work saying which charity you are racing for, to gain more awareness and publicity.Donnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00473843674999627197noreply@blogger.com
